Amazing...the order, the wonder, of nature. Everything created has a job to do, even the bees. What is my job today? Worth reflecting on. Thanks Judy.

I checked the Internet to verify that those are paper wasp. I hope you are able to remove them safely since they tend to be aggressive and destructive.

The nest are amazing. Great shot.

It amazes me how these wasps work together building their nests and how fast they work.

Beese are indeed fascinating to watch if only for their industriousness. But I prefer that they not build their homes near my own, Judy. It seems they can sense my fear especially wasps which I always try to avoid!

Hi Judith -

Wow! I love this. Where is the hive that you photographed here?

Thanks everyone for commenting!

Hi Sandra ... The wasp nest was directly under the railing on my deck. I used my zoom lens so I didn't have to get so close. I don't like wasps. They scare me. But these guys were so busy building their nest that they didn't even notice me.

Blessings,
Judy

Hi Judith -

Thank you...the shot is wow!

Did you allow them to continue to "rent" space under the railing?
