Macro Poinsettia Petals

Monday, December 26, 2011
Tested out my new Nikon 40 mm macro lens my wonderful husband bought me for Christmas. These are handheld shots so they're not as sharp as they should be. Next time I'll use my tripod like the pros say you should with macro photography, but I was at the mall and didn't have my tripod with me. Enjoy anyway! :-)

What a wonderful gift t have received, Judy! You should give your husband a great BIG hug, which I am sure you already have. Oh, the fun you will have exploring close-up with your macro lens. The poinsetta shots look good to me even for being handheld. Happy New Year to you and yours!

Hey Judy! My husband gave me a few $$$ for a camera, so I've been reading your posts about your new camera with interest. My little Nikon is about worn out, and I'm looking at a Nikon Coolpix P7000 10.1 MP Digital Camera with 7.1x Wide Zoom-Nikkor ED Lens and 3-Inch LCD. I'm not a pro, so I'd love your opinion ...
