Macro Kitty
I tested my macro photography skills on my 2-year-old kitty Precious. She's a Maine Coon — a long-haired breed. Getting her to pose for these shots was maddening to say the least. She wouldn't stop moving, so I had to change my camera settings from aperture priority to shutter speed priority to freeze the shot. Not too bad, huh?

No too bad at all Judy, they're great. I wonder what she was thinking....wonderful expressions.

Cats don't really care to be interupted in their daily routines.I am not sure if one I have is going deaf or just ignors the world.
Beautiful, I always wanted a Maine Coon cat...their markings are just stunning!
You had a beautiful subject with Precious, Judt, and she really seems to live up to her name.
Hi Judith -
The cat photos are intense. I like them!
Sidebar: If you are so inclined, go to www.youtube.com and type in the search engine "cat and alligator" and see a cat scare off an alligator.
Judy the photo shots are great thanks for commenting on Shades of Pink sorry it took me so long to get back. Right now i am resting in the shelter of the most high but in the natural struggling a bit from the buffeting waves. hopefully i will be back in the saddle again soon. I will keep in tap.
love and prayers to you my dear Sista Eternal~Soroya aka Firedancer ( Definitely dancing in the midst of the fervent flames of fury but not alone the 4th man in the fire is right there with me)
Very lovely Judy. (I've taken a quick looksee at your other images as well but didn't comment there).
I have the same problem with my pets - if I can call it a problem. The don't want to strike a pose just because I want them to strike a pose. But then again, those may be the best poses afterall.
Your photos are all breathtaking. I am a professional amature(sp?) photographer at best, but I find it very soothing to see with the eye of my camera what I tend to miss otherwise.
Keep up the beatuiful work.
Wonderful pictures Judy.
