"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or
reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly
Father feeds them." (Matthew 6:26)

I would be thrilled to see a robin this time of year. I'm afraid it will be months before they show up here! This photo is just beautiful...what kind of lens do you have for such great shots?
Hi Anita,
I used my Nikon 55-300mm lens. Believe it or not, it was freezing cold outside so I simply took the photos from one of the side-light windows next to the front door of my house. If I had opened up the door, the birds would have definitely flown away. Gotta love those telephoto zooms, huh? I took the photos about 2 weeks ago.

Judy, your birds are just incredible--Is that a new lens you have?
Hi Dianne,
It's fairly new. I traded in my 55-200mm zoom a few months ago for an upgrade. I just love it. It's a higher quality lens that brings you a little bit closer to your subject while standing far away.
Blessings,
Judy
Very nice! You do nice work!
Hi Judy! No worries about that first link, it happens! I've put in wrong links myself. :) I've removed it and was glad to see that you were able to get the right one linked up. I'm so glad you've joined in with us this week!
This photo gives us hope of Spring!
Love the picture. I am always amazed at how well our Creator has provided for these little guys. I sometimes try to help by putting out seed, but He doesn't really need my help:)
Glad I stopped by your blog.
what a great shot...and love the way you posted that verse....
Beautiful picture and verse.
Many blessings,
Virginia
Your bird is breathtaking. The thought that God takes care of the tiny birds is amazing in that it teaches us we are of more value to God. Blessings...
